SPECIAL -- Dec. 26 - 30 Mass times



The Baptism of Christ, by Giotto di Bondone (c. 1270 – January 8, 1337), know as Giotto. He worked during the Gothic or Proto-Renaissance period. The Baptism of Christ is part of his most famous work, the "decoration of the Scrovegni Chapel, in Padua, also known as the Arena Chapel, finished about 1305. The fresco cycle depicts the Life of the Virgin and the Life of Christ." It is one of the masterpieces of the Early Renaissance. 


The 2017/2018 Christmas season ends at Second Vespers of the BAPTISM OF THE LORD on Monday, January 8, 2018, the 681st anniversary of  Gitto's death.    


December 26 Tuesday
Mass: 12:00 pm  (Second day of the Octave of Christmas)

December 27 Wednesday
Mass: 8:00 am  (Third day of the Octave of Christmas)
* The Abbey will be closed after Mass on Wednesday. 

December 28 Thursday 
Mass: 12:00 pm  (Fourth day of the Octave of Christmas)

December 29 Friday
Mass: 12:00 pm  (Fifth day of the Octave of Christmas)

December 30 Saturday
Mass: 8:00 am  (Sixth day of the Octave of Christmas)


Morning prayer is at 7:30 am December 27 - 30.
